Brief History: The Hadleys are a wealthy wizarding family from Ireland. Both Edward Hadley and Elizabeth Sparrow-Hadley attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy; in fact, that's exactly how they met. Although Elizabeth Sparrow-Hadley was a Ravenclaw and Edward was a Hufflepuff, they fell in love and were married in 1986, just three years after they their Hogwarts graduation in 1983. Their only daughter, Colleen Marie, was born June 22, 1989. The Hadleys moved to Ireland shortly after the birth of Colleen and stayed there until January of 2001, shortly after the death of Elizabeth on December 23, 2000. Edward told Alexander and Adelaide (the butler and maid) that he simply couldn't stand to stay in Ireland after Elizabeth's death because of the memories of her and he missed her so much. So he moved to a luxurious mansion in London so he could be closer to Hogwarts for his daughter (this was during Colleen's first year of Hogwarts) and also for himself. Hogwarts holds a lot of good memories of Elizabeth that Edward prefers over the memory of her death. Colleen is now 17 years old and entering her 7th year at Hogwarts. Her father Edward was pleased to hear that Colleen was made Prefect during her 6th year, as he was once a Hufflepuff Prefect himself. Hogwarts was the first school Colleen ever attended - she was home-schooled by a private tutor (Adelaide) until age 11. She has attended Hogwarts ever since.
